Salah Offers Regret to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones

The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Salah apologised to the team following the uproar from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to voicing frustrations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”

The manager has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

Looking Ahead

He emphasized that the team's response was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.

The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

On-Field Response

Their results have remained strong in the matches since the situation. Jones believes the outburst were not intended to harm the team.

“When there’s been any sort of anger, the source has been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
